Dr. Yuliya Angelova is a licensed optometrist for NY Vision Group who has been providing comprehensive eye care in the New York area for over 15 years. Dr. Yuliya Angelova completed her undergraduate studies at New York University majoring in biochemistry with Cum Laude in 1997. She received her professional degree from SUNY College of Optometry with Beta Sigma Kappa honors in 2002. She completed her residency program at Northport VA hospital in Primary Care, Low Vision and Vision Therapy Rehabilitation in 2003.
Dr. Angelova uses her education and experience to promptly detect and manage ocular diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma and is also experienced with respect to cataract evaluation and surgical co-management, dry eye disease management with drops, punctual plugs, and amniotic tissue placement and refractive error correction with glasses and contact lenses prescription. She is a member of the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.
