Dr. Sergio Cisneros is a licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care at NY Vision Group. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Irvine and double majored in Psychology and Criminology. A native to California, he relocated to New York City and received his doctorate in optometry at SUNY College of Optometry in 2022. Being of Mexican descent, Dr. Cisneros frequently volunteered to assist the college’s CSTEP program speaking to underserved and underrepresented minorities to recruit them to the medical field. He is well trained in pediatrics, ocular surface disease management, specialty contact lenses and general optometric eye care. He enjoys getting to know all his patients and educating them about their ocular health.
During his free time, Dr. Cisneros enjoys taking care of his plants, dining at new restaurants and running in Central Park.
