Dr. Raul Daniels is a licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care for NY Vision Group. He received his doctorate in optometry from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2017. He completed his residency training at SUNY College of Optometry with a rotation through Woodhull Hospital/ Mental Health Center and is residency-trained in the advanced management of ocular diseases.
Prior to entering the field of optometry, Dr. Daniels was actively involved in scientific research including studies in the areas of biology, microbiology, biochemistry and organic chemistry. He currently holds both a Bachelor’s (2009) and Master’s degree (2012) in Biochemistry from The City College of New York (CUNY) and CUNY Graduate Center respectively. He currently lives in Brooklyn.
