Dr. Julia Schneider is a board certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and corneal surgery, as well as comprehensive ophthalmology. A graduate of the University of Michigan with honors, she went on to receive her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She then pursued a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Eye Institute where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she continued her training at the prestigious Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University Medical Center where she completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery, as well as external diseases of the eye. She is a published author in several leading ophthalmology journals. Dr. Schneider’s priority is the well-being, comfort and satisfaction of her patients, and she strives to offer the best possible care combining cutting-edge practice and technology with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
